Actually the PCV system IS the problem (or lack there of anyway).

Please elaborate....I'm having the same symptoms you are, smoke on decel and after revving at idle yada yada. VSS is new with motor 1k miles ago but I fear PCV was bad all along since I robbed it from my old block. Just replaced PCV few weeks ago but haven't gotten to drive it yet since I'm doing cam seals and timing belt since I'm guessing bad PCV caused all my seals to leak

*Edit* how are your turbos btw? were the seals leaking? Have yet to pull mine

Interesting, I know ur PCV is removed. The PCV, proportionally allows clean air/flushes out blow-by up to boost/wot. I was wondering if the delete would b an issue.

    We have a winner!

You need the vacuum but the system doesn't vent well enough under boost so a lot of engines build up too much pressure for turbo seals. I think I have a good setup now to have vac like stock but vent well enough to avoid pressure on turbo seals. Pretty much every "my car is smoking" thread can be traced back to this crappy PCV system.

My last motor did, it started dribbling out of the filler cap. replacing the 2 broken pistons fixed it.

I really hope you are kidding steve. That being said I'm starting to think you like to drink.

Remove the front and rear PCV and check valves. Tap barb fittings into the stock vent locations and run new lines and consolidiate the front and rear valve cover check valve outlets to a catch can with a drain outlet. Buy a one way check valve, drill and tap the oil catch can drain and then on the backside run a line to a tapped barb fitting into the exhaust behind the cat. Your car will never have blowby issues again. All that garbage will get vac'd into the exhaust. Kind like Erron Spalsbury's except his is open atmosphere. Take his a step further and throw an exhaust vac on it at all times.

It works, 1000+ hp streetrods, big V-8 procharger, supercharger, and turbo guys have been dumping into the exhaust since the 60's. They used to tap the valve covers and install braided lines from the covers to oil scatter filters with one way check valves and then tap into the exhast and use the exhaust pressure to pull blowby. ( If you care about the environment this mod's not for you, so keep your car stock and then it won't smoke)

For the record this fix and several other big popular ones have been resolved in a bright idea book. Most of all the advanced tech fixes for boosted cars are covered in a fantastic book by Nick Swagers, "Secrets of Speed". It's a good engine blueprinting and tuning book too BTW .

Mine is already like Erron's, sounds like what you are explaining is sort of what I'm doing.
