Someone post pictures of these hoods as I have no clue what anyone is talking about "Scootie2,gt300,scoobie,Etc" .

It might also straighten out some things as I think you guys are talking about two different hoods, Maybe??

You are one of very few people who actually thinks the Scootie looks good so you are the one in the minority here, not me. Just because a Scootie hood is curvy doesn't mean it looks good on a 3s.
Bwahahah stealthee!! you are effin awesome sir.

    OK....
The GT-300 is about the only one that makes sense!

Scoote2 is just plain ugly! But I can see it's functionality

The Pitroad M is not only ugly but its' functionality is flawed.... The front scoop will pull heat out and force it right back through the rear scoop??? And the side vents, are they cooling off the strut towers??? I didn't know they got that hot. The mixture of push/pull airflow is not functional with that hood. You can either force cool air into the engine to cool it or extract heat from it You can only use one method not both! Hood Fail!!!!

I think the pitroad M front vents air out right after the radiator where normally the airflow is trapped and cool air is being scooped by airflow to cool the rear turbo, the scoop on the passenger side goes to the intake, and the other scoop is probably just there to make it look symmetrical. Now the scoops imo don't really catch too much airflow, which is why I prefer venting out air like in scoote and topsecret because you will be venting more air then prm which imo is a more noticeable gain.

As seen in the pics the GT300/Top Secret is not just straight lines like IPD keeps eluding too. It has curve to it. It works because it looks like it could have come stock on a 3s. The Scootie doesn't look like it would come stock on anything.

    wow. more fail.

the pitroad m has 2 vents. whatever the fuck atrosity posted is the knockoff. the genuine pitroad m has a vent over the front bank and a vent over the rear bank; not a scoop over the rear bank. i know, i've seen it in person. whoever paid for a knockoff, i pity.

vr4ever's car was very well put together. his hood was also the only part of the car which i disliked immensely; it just did NOT flow with the car. telling me that that hood has curves to it is, imho, like insisting that the world is flat. there is no way in hell the gt-300 looks like it came stock on anything other than maybe a lambo reventon. it is FAR too angular.

    p.s.

i stand corrected. gixxerdrew's spyder DSM is actually a custom fab; not a scoote2. the vents are actually steeper to vent more air, and it also has gurney flaps to create downforce on the front. i've asked him about getting one fabbed for my car.
