tuned at Pampena Motorsports.
The RED lines are when we bolted it onto the dyno.
The BLUE lines are when Ray was finished with it.
mods are:
13g's
HKS sidemounts
DNP hardpipe kit
3.5" MAF

MAFT
SAFC
PTE 550cc
GReddy B-profecII
17psi
Ray runs this setup with this billet 650's. Its a simple setup and it works.
The AFR's were in the 10s. Ray tried to pull back to the 11s but it would knock. He feels the tiny HKS sidemounts are the limiting factor. He also feels we werent going to see any more PSI out of them, they're definitely maxed. We increased to 18psi and got 1 more hp out of it. ONE. so we pulled it down to 17psi and tuned for a knock-free environment.
I'm happy. As I said on 3si -
Altho I've already lied. I'm not getting a cf hood and i'm going to try and return this CF 99 wing I bought...it fits like ass.I'm VERY happy with it. Idles better than before, WOT is crazy. It's as Ray said, if you put the right parts on the car and KEEP IT SIMPLE, you can make big power. Think of all the people who throw thousands into tuning components but can achieve the same results with hundreds less.
The HKS intercoolers are doing a good job. They're just barely larger than stock size, but they aren't rotted out like my stock SMIC's were. If I had alamo's or Gene's kit I'm sure we could have leaned out the AFR some more and picked up a few more ponies.
As far as doing more mods, my focus for this summer is getting a billet transfer case so I can launch without worry. I also have a CF Deft 5se7en5 i'm picking up tomorrow and a CF 99 wing I'm going to be installing on the car. And then, just coasting with the mods until I get sick of 420hp and want to step into the billet 650/700 realm. But that won't be for a few more years.
So whats next? My wallet will be first to find out
