need some pics of the hoop (and n/a wing, if you have them)

hey guys, i need some pics of the stock hoop. specifically, i need to see how/where the 3rd brake light is wired into it. it would also be helpful if someone had pics of the n/a wing in the same area--so i can compare/contrast the difference.

i'm specifically interested in where the wire passes from the hatch to the wing. my new wing will not have a center-post; so i'd like to copy the hoop-style & keep it looking as "OEM" as possible.

    thanks!

I have a gto with an active rear spoiler, but I fitted a hoop spoiler 4 years ago, I used one of the original fixing holes and drilled the top and side of the hatch to route the wiring for the led brake light, I also used the oe connector that supplied the original active aero and brake lights for the hoop brake light.

Not sure about that, but the centre brake light has to have a feed from the rear hatch, as the Active aero wiring inc the brake light supply was still there I thought that this was the best and easiest method.

yeah, paul, you have the same wing as i do. all 91-96 3kgt's were wired the same way; hole in the center post.

the new spoiler only has left/right posts; no center. so i'll need to route the wiring out one side or the other. i'm just trying to make it look as OEM as possible when i do it.

When I received my hoop spoiler the wiring came out from the drivers side of the central part hoop spoiler so on mine its as it should be fitted as oe route and as earlier said I used the active aero wiring block for the led brake light.

yeah, my n/a wing has a central feed as well. i'm just trying to gauge how to convert to side-feed and make it look OEM.
