    stardrive push start ignition

I have never had a aftermarket push button ignition start system that I have wanted till now!
Has any one else seen this or done this to there car the completely eliminates their key altogether. my only concern is if their is an system problem that would requires a key.

pretty nice, I know that they have been doing this on manufactured cars for a while. Now all they need is to combine a remote starter with one of those so it automatically starts when you are 15 or closer to it.

Ive never been a fan of remote starts but maybe that's because I have never owned an automatic.

What does owning an auto have to do with not being a fan of remote starts? I am not so much a fan on the newer cars with high security key systems. The idea of defeating the security to have the auto start worries me. The idea of being able to warm my car up before I leave for/from work without going outside is pretty nice. My 2000 Grand Prix GT doesn't have remote start, but my 91 R/T TT just may before winter (although it won't be push button no key setup just remote start unit)

I still dont see the appeal. Its cool, but I dont see any issues with my key

I have always however, wanted an implanted RFID tag for similar purposes. That would be a big enough improvement for me to care.

This kit replaces the whole key assembly. You won't need to put a key in and turn it on to then push a start button. this replaces the key 100%. I have yet to see a 3s that didn't need a key! All you will have is a fob that senses when your within 10 feet automatically unlocks unarms the alarm and then only push the start button to start the car. Never needing to do any thing with a key or fob other than have it in your pocket.
