There is no damn question. Get hood pins or this will happen to you.

I didn't have hood pins on my Deft Racing Top Secret hood. My hood was latched and at 50 miles an hour my hood flew off.

I didn't want to have to paint them every couple years, so I just left them black. I painted the inside of the viper duct black, so it doesn't look too terrible...

im not a big fan of the hood pins but they might end up black because im going to be painted the car 2 tone when its done. the scoop on the hood will be black along with the roof. i am also going to by a combat wing and the center section will be black as well. i have also found black with polished rims im going with to. so im not sure what ill go with

i don't run pins...and i'll tell you that you probably should. funny how chaser makes better hoods than our primary vendors--at least in some areas.

I have Aerocatch latches on my car. Love them!
You can hardly see them on the CF.

My cousin had a CF hood on his BMW that flew up and smashed his windshield while he was driving. I would have to say it is crucially necessary.

I think hood pins look frickin sweet! Plus if you consider the number of people on here who have advocated having them, I don't think there's much of a question anymore, haha. I'm gonna get the aerocatch style when I get my CF hood, and I would recommend anyone who buys an aftermarket hood to do the same (even if it's a different brand).
