Thread: I adjusted the front injector harness with the car running and it DIED.

I adjusted the front injector harness with the car running and it DIED.

I was installing a fuel pressure gauge to trouble shoot a FPR problem and the injector harness needed to be adjusted to make room. I pulled up on it a little to see how much the plastic cover would need trimmed and the car died and won't start now. I checked the connection to the CAS and I have checked fuse 12 and 19 inside the car because my logger won't find the ECU in the CEL screen. I am now at a loss and have started looking for a broken wire. Any help in a direction to look would be very appreciated.

ok....My MAFT,s LED no longer blinks when I turn on the key. So there is no power to the harness there or I somehow killed it. I am gonna put in a spare ECU and try that too.

I changed back to the stock mas....nothing
Checked for power on the red wire to the mas....Zero volts
    Put in a spare ecu.....nothing
I was very suspicious of the CAS but now that I am lacking power to the MAS connector I believe it has to be more than that.

    Any pointers would be great.

    Thanks (in advance)

Might wanna check those wires just incase. They could be cracked and shorted out when you lifted the harness causing it to blow the fuse.

There is a ground that lines the O2 bundle that may have touched something but I am gonna give things there a good look.

This! You caused it to blow by pulling on it so you might want to check that out.

Definitely find and fix it. if moving things around blew a fuse, you have a bare wire that is shorting. it will blow again and may go while you are driving.
