WOW, I just went and checked that thread again. I cant believe he said he isn't censoring threads. I think saying him not being a mod was a great idea to improve the site.

IDK how Alan would feel about this but maybe AF being invited here for a non censored discussion might open their eyes. ea probably be a cluster f*%k.

This makes me really sad. I know that a good thing like how 3Si used to be couldn't stay around forever, but this is rather depressing. I've been wandering further from 3Si more and more recently because of the direction it slowly has been heading in. The only thing keeping me there is ROTM... Even most of the GA members never post there anymore..

Ditto. 3Si has been in a steady decline over the past few years so I'm not sure how this whole new batch of mods/supermods/admins is going to work out. I've been keeping fairly quiet there because I'm sure if I said what I really thought I might get banned myself and I'd rather not do that.

I have a feeling that a lot people who are really the source of the 3Si knowledge base are going to abandon ship when they see the bough break, if they haven't already done so. There's a lot of stored knowledge on the site, but once people who generate that information leave the bottom will fall out. Granted not everyone will leave, but that kind of loss is akin to wealth-generating tax payers getting fed up with the federal government and forming their own state where their earnings stay out of reach of funding huge entitlement programs for the non-producing derelicts. When that happens the whole thing will fall apart. Is 3Si headed that direction? I don't know.
