2 Stock Fuel Pumps better than 1?

I've got 2 working stock fuel pumps and I'm wondering if with a stock setup if its better than just having one there both old so i don't know how much fuel they pump i plan to upgrade latter to a 2 pump system when i have the money.

any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful

if you're flat broke, then it's better than nothing, i suppose.

personally, i'd take 1 supra pump over 2x stock pumps--or if i was broke, a hotwired walbro. walbro's are noisy though, imho--at least if you have a decent exhaust. if you run open, you'll never hear it.

that's the first i've heard that a denso is louder than a walbro. ever.

I just installed my Walbro. I heard a rumor they changed the design to be less noisy and I would say they did. I couldn't hear any whining or feel any vibration and I was sitting in the trunk with the access panel open.

IDK. Im really happy with my walbro. Now I need to hotwire it and find an AFPR for cheap, Max out these 360's since 11 psi with 16T's isnt doing it for my need for speed

It's not a matter of "are 2 better than one?". Not at all. It is about your fuel requirement, and if one pump is able to keep up with your requirments or not. So many people just have this need to bolt something on with no planning what so ever. Builds are about the PLAN.
Do the math and see what your requirements are. Than you can ask "Is my math correct""Looks like I need two pumps?".

550cc injectors are probably what are needed at a MINIMUM if you're going to get the full potential out of dr750's. add 35% for the move from pump gas to ethanol and you arrive at 750cc injectors.

now if you want to run 750cc injectors through a stock fuel system; more power to you--but don't say i didn't warn you. and imho, if you're sticking to a single pump for this--you'll need one with AT LEAST 300LPH.

for MY BUILD, i'm going the extra length to run more than what's necessary to achieve the power levels i want. the less "taxing" the demands are on each component, the less likely something is to fail. so for ME--i'd rather run 2x pumps at 45% capacity than 1 at 90%.

1 Hotwired Walbro isn`t enough for my 780`s, it`s speny by approx 70% IDC (Emanage Ultimate logger).

I guess they must've changed them. My denso pump is 1/10th as loud as my walbro.
