Wow for some reason My email never told me about this message

First thing,I Lightly wet-sanded it with my hand never with a power tool ever. It was 1000 grit to just get the black off it and find out if it was grooved. I sent you a pm about all the info. The first pics in this thread are what it looked like when I took it out of the box and it looked terrible man. Im not some faggot douchbag with no honor or integrity. I find it incredibly offensive for a single being to believe me a liar and a scam. I swear to holy hell I would dedicate my life to putting every motherfucking scammer in a trash bin full of honey so they can be devoured by bees. I purposely try to sell my computer on Craigslist at outrageous price just to get them to email so I can report all the info to an agency that is "supposed" to do something about it. I would never EVER slander a mans name and if you read this post in its entirety you will find I was very very calm, collective, and trusting.

You said you would work something out and its been a month and you happen to make a post in my thread suggesting I purposely fucked it up? I had more trust in you man and not once have I had an issue with a member. I still hope that this gets all figured out because I will not put up a negative feedback unless I was righteously scammed. I feel that you sir didnt intend to send me a bad plate I figure it was just something you didnt notice.

It is a wide straight edge didnt take much effort man come on. Why does this happen? the guy who gets a part that was mistaken to be good by an honest seller gets shamed, booed and shit on? Ask anyone I live with, Alex3000gt someone who knows me and you would all realize the ridiculousness of where this thread is going. I asked for help and had no idea what I was doing when it came to buying a pp, I got it, was told it looked like shit. I cleaned the black off by wet sanding with 1000grit paper with my hand for a few minutes. in no way possible even with a hand grinder would I have ever been able to make it that warped.

I am the type of guy where If I fuck something up it was my fault and I dont complain because I know it was me. I dont return items unless they were broke out of the box and I dont blame intel if my processor stops working for overclocking. The people who do otherwise should all be drowned in cornstarch.

like i said vince, I have no $$ to refund you due to the poor tolerance techniques and also that you did sanding on it. I understand you used 800-1000grit and all that but it wasnt warped and using that beat stick to measure is unacceptable. I said I would send you the evo knob, ok you dont want it, but it IS a brand new OEM evo x from a 2010 evo never used and it goes for $80. if you like your skull one fine, sell this one. thats the best I will do. If it wasnt touched then i would do something else, but to sand it by hand im sorry bro. Luckily I AM willing to help you out due to my nature, but you did by a USED PP and its risky in anything u buy used. I honestly dont have to help you but I am willing. No $$ bud, no money in my account. Thats why im willing to give parts. You said u shoulda been careful due to me being unverified? wtf for real i have sold shit tons with 0 negs and here suddenly i am "unverified" come on bro. Last offer, take it or leave it

First of all I didnt know who you are so when I saw unverified I was scared of the consequence. Second that ruler is no beat stick it is a precise measuring tool I used when I went to tech school I could pull it right back out of the box and do it with any tool you like if you wish. This plate is exactly the same as it was except now its not covered in burnt clutch disk. Third no matter what, I am going to get screwed, you have the rep here, you will be sided with even if I had notarized paper work of its condition out of the package. I have been boned soooo many times in my life most people would crush their face with a meat tenderizer, all because I have been a pushover to everyone thinking nice is the way to go. I, also stated last month I didnt expect fast or full payment I was willing to work with anything, (ie $10 here $15 there) whatever the case and parts / evo shift knob were fine too if I could use them. I never knew the value of the shift nob so when I said nah you can keep it I was ignorant of its value and would have called it square.

I sent you a pm with my number, please give me a call I really just want to get it all behind us with no one getting shit on.

Well, I'm not picking sides here. Anyone on this site that knows me, knows I kid around a lot, so sorry if any offense was taken to either party.

I may have a solution to it all. Say the plate is indeed warped, and is machinable. Getting the plate machined for the $40 it would cost out of your own pocket and having Mike pay half whenever available seems like a fair compromise.

    Does this sound fair?

there is no possible way the warp in that plate could be caused by cleaning it with sand paper.

You also don't need an instrument from NASA to see that plate is warped.

It is harder to find someone able to machine a pressure plate than a flyhweel because it is hard to properly position it into a tool without having flange bolts in the center.

IF you can find someone to do it then you have to take the plate apart and add some shims to the straps to make up for the lost thickness. Then you have to worry about the diaphragm geometry. Overall you are better off getting a new plate.
