On a side note, what kind of engine and turbo kit you doing? I'm guessing with the bigger price tag, maybe a 3.7?
it's a 3.5L. starting from scratch, ANY 3.5L 6g72 stroker is going to cost you a MINIMUM of ~6k; parts & labor--and this one is getting a nitrided/cryo-treated crank as part of the processs. not a huge bump in price, but it does add some.

add in the other stuff i already listed. then add up the little stuff like the 120k kit, alternator, etc. i'm not re-using anything on this build if i can help it.

You could get a welder to weld some aluminum 6AN fittings to the stock fuel rail. I bet a local welder would do that for 50 bucks and some cold ones. summit racing sells weld on 6AN fittings.

Yea, little stuff adds up fast. I plan on having Ray build me a 72 stroker, soon as I find out if my 74 crank is worthy enough. Just gotta figure out some pricing.....

Good luck with the build man.

Let me know if you still need some. We make billet fuel rails. I can include them in the rest of the package deal for an additional 100.00

Quick hyjack, then I will go away...

If I am going DR750s and E85 Iam guessing I will need rails as well?

I should start a "Gonna do a dumbass thing" thread to start my list of shit my wife will kill me for!

i'd say it's practically required. i don't know where the stock rails become a limitation, but my guess would be ~550cc injectors. they can work with larger ones, but it begins to be a restriction around that point. you hit the limit faster with ethanol, because you'll be pumping more of it into the engine.

    i think my fuel setup (not including rails) cost ~$1300. jackhammer's dual-pump hangar, 2x supra pumps, fuelab fpr/filter, 2 y-blocks, 3 male/male fittings, and 20' each -6 and -8 lines.

$16k in an engine setup. Geez I don't even want to think about mine with the turbo kit and everything.
