for sure but it seems to be very common to use flaps or integrated bodywork with any body style to help to extract high pressure air out of the wheel well.(the front tires are never directly exposed to the airflow)

FWIW, my front bumper has a little lip molded in to help direct air around the tire. Also, the ducting on my FMIC is pretty extensive for an OEM application.

apparently piping effects is massive mainly because of the dual pass design; note below; the dual pass design like this really sucks IMO.. inlet is heating the outlet lol(altho i thought it should perform better vs a single pass:| ) ..

    Chinabay core

    (core size of (~8x8.1X4.6)
Outside Temp 25 degrees Celsius = 77 degrees Fahrenheit

    after 5 mins
Intercooler Outlet Temp 50 degrees Celsius = 122 degrees Fahrenheit

    after 10mins
Intercooler Outlet 56.7 degrees Celsius = 134.06 degrees Fahrenheit

    after 15mins
Intercooler Outlet 56.7 degrees Celsius = 134.06 degrees Fahrenheit

after 15-17mins this is how it looked

Outside Temp 25 degrees Celsius = 77 degrees Fahrenheit

    after 5 mins
Intercooler Outlet 27.5 degrees Celsius = 81.5 degrees Fahrenheit
