    4 posts in a row?

is it just me, or does it seem that mb7050 REALLY wants to have everyone believe that smics > fmics--regardless of the data we actually have available?

no man I´m just interested in of this topic

actually if you look at the values 3" pipe will flow better than 2x2" pipes so +1 for FMIC guys

I´m not saying FMIC is bad as I said before I think the FMIC vs SMIC depate is more about personal preference than anything else.

3" has more flow potential...but also more air to pressurise...so not necessarily better.

yes but it is desired to have slightly bigger cold side ic piping because the air is moving slower then

faster the air moves the hotter it becomes so you don´t want to heat up the air again right ?

actually Gerhard @ bell intercoolers recommended to have over 2" pipes when you go over ~630 awhp

in theory....practice though? I recon I'm not going to bother going any larger than the commpressor output, so if my Terminators have a 2" outlet..that's what I'm going to use...I MAY go to a 2.5" outlet from the intercooler....but I bet if I test it there won't be much point I recon..

all this is years off though.

so in theory....match compressor for output, then go what...half inch larger for cold side?

I'd love to see some end tanks that don't hold like a liter of air each made up too.
