    How to store a shortblock.

Hey guys, I was wondering about techniques on storing a shortblock for a period of time.

As I am on the south coast about throwing distance from the gulf, the air is salty and rusts stuff quick. Just wondering the best way to store it so it doesn't rust before I get to install it.

    Thanks in advance.

We follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.

I've always heard store it in plastic of some sort and spray it down with WD40 to prevent rust.

Theres only one way Steven, keep it in the bed under the blankets, youll have to hold it for about 8 hours a day and it will be fine.

(Seal it in, if you can, coat the bare metal with oil, WD40 doesnt stand the test of time)

I will cry if it rusts on me before I get it all put together. Just gives me more of a reason to get it done faster =)

I need to find a second job to dedicate money just for the car.
