I don't see why everyone is so hell bent on making the line go to the hood. I've tried it in real life; it's too far down and it looks weird if the black upper part is exposed.

They're supposed to be an homage to my first headlight design, seen here in these 2+ year old pictures.

I think the full angry eyes look pretty bleh on 1G's. The eyebrow is better, IMO.

I don't care for the angry eyes really. I just thought I'd see what it would look like, and share.

Check this out and see what you think: http://www.3sgto.org/f11/photoshoot-...nder-1824.html It's about what you would expect it too look like. Plus with stick on vinyl, it still looks great with lit up snake eyes.

There are good cars that get you from point A to point B, and then there are great cars, that get you into trouble.

like that, and the signals tinted too, fits the mustache nicely, the mustache on mine is a lighter gray though. I think I'll go for the snake eye mod though, looks great on yours.

this. the mustache just "sets off" the front of a 1g 3k, and having the snake eyes / turns match is MONEY. add a black kaze lip & it's pure sex.

Thank you. I'm happy with how it turned out, even though my original idea was I wanted my mustache painted over in the future.

that's a mistake (imho) i've seen a lot of people make. painting it body color (on anything other than a black car) makes it look like there's a bunch of pointless lines running across the bumper. filling it in (like what has been posted in this thread) is a little bit better, but it loses some character.

imho, you either go eurospec, or you do what you've done, and nightshade the turns so that the mustache FITS. the pervert in me wonders what a mustached, nightshaded eurospec would look like--but i don't think anyone will ever do that.

regardless of what anyone says, i'm convinced that the fugliest external OEM feature on all of these cars was amber turns. the 99's got it right. the rest just stick out like an eyesore--especially 1g 3kgt's. even going to JDM tails doesn't quite fix it; sure it looks better because it matches--but it still doesn't fit right. a lightly applied coat of nightshades does wonders for the amber.

I originally wanted to make my bumper work with the eurospec turn signals, but where do you even get them?

i think you actually need the eurospec bumper or do some modification to the USDM one. no idea on who carries the eurospec turns though. even JDM was the same as UDSM.
