    Passport 9500ci radar detectors?

Has anyone used one of these? https://www.escortradar.com/store/passport-9500ci.html

I had the rep for the company walk in today and we worked out some really good pricing for them. But i wanted to see if there was any input besides what he was telling me. They look really nice and have every bell and whistle. Think this would be worthy of a group buy? if so what price.

I dont want to start a GI/GB thread because i want peoples thoughts on it first. before pushing forward

I've been shopping, and that system is as nice as they come. A little rich for my blood, but it could happen...

Clearly a very nice all-inclusive unit but it's really hard to justify that price when comparing the two Valentine One I have. They do a good job for far less coin.

They have laser shifters. From what I hear they are not quite as effective as some products out there, but I've had very good results with mine. I've never used anything else except for the SRX which was the predecessor. The 9500ci is a significantly better system than the SRX. I really like the small display which I mounted in the mirror. Can't get more stealth than that. I'd get it for $1000. I bought one on ebay for $1200 that I installed into my friend's camaro.

The Escort Redlines are really great radar detectors especially along the interstates. Driving cross country on I-10 I would pick up police radar almost 4 miles if the terrain was right.
