How in the hell am I supposed to fix this?

So apparently my step dads boss backed into my car plowing the driveway and didn't notice. He hit my car hard enough to move it and put a dent in it about foot and half long and 5inches in and extends up from the wheel well to the window. I don't know how the hell you hit a car that hard and not notice? I guess I'm lucky he didn't hit the window. Any write ups on replacing the rear quarter panel?

you don't want to replace the quarter panel.

Have a body shop pull the dent out, and repaint and blend it. Tell him he's going to have to cover it through his insurance, that's an expensive job.

I know its involved, as that is spot welded to the unibody. Someone else will have to come in with details.

    EDIT: ^ What she said

I'm not going to be able to get his insurance to cover it and I'm not going to try. He was doing my parents a favor so I'm going to do him one by not getting insurance involved. I'll read up on doing body work. I plan on painting it anyways or just selling it. idk. kinda really sucks. =[

Yea.... widebody fender time LOL. Or you can use a stud gun and pull the dent out, do some body filler, then prime. The rear quarters are very hard to get straight.

you can pull the dent yourself. get a length of all thread that is the same thread as your vise grips, probably 3/8 ... you then need a piece of steel with a hole that will slide on the all thread. put a washer and nut on the end of the all thread that will stop the steel weigth when you slam it against it. drill and put a sheet metal screw in the body dent and just clamp it with the vise grips and use it as a dent puller. the vise grip puller works great on a lot of jobs when you need to pull something out, all old time machinests have one of these.. good luck
