I been working in this for a few weeks, so far the first added options are Big Fuel/Timing Maps and Launch rpm limit we are going to continue to work on this , one 3s member is going to test this rom, once is 100% working we let you guys know, this will only apply to 99 roms I do not have access to a 98 rom but i think you could flash the 99 rom into a 98

Have you read all my threads on 3si? We should pool our data. I can send you the addresses for the maf tables & quite a few more.

Is the stationary rev limit it's own table in the ecu?

Btw I have confirmed the 99 rom does work in a 98 ecu. Which rom are you using? 006?

That is awsome people can buy a 98 SL ecu and just flash the new Rom in ....
I am using the 23860006 , about that data you have can be usefull to get this going faster I was looking for the maf address to add scaling and compensation maps but I stop my head hurt hahah , I did add accel enrichment map and open loop load 1 and 2 tables...

For the input data from bboyalan we need to look for fuel cut limits in the rom from a maxed out MAF 1500hz let me know what you have....

You will need a hotwired fuel pump and some external form of boost controler to use the vr4 rom on the sl ecu. I haven't confirmed if the stock boost gauge works yet...

I have the fuel cut tables as well and Alan did confirm they were correct. Couldn't try them in my 99 as its still stock...

Where I left off was trying to raise the logging limits of the maf and load in the data port. The ecu keeps counting, but the numbers shown on the logger are maxed at 8bits. I have an idea for this but maybe it'd be better to just make a new routine and assign it to a different address on the obd2 port.

I was also trying to get the evox map sensor to work in place of the stock one (first step towards speed density). I was also trying to get the stock boost gauge to show real data from the ecu. Projects projects....

Gil, I sent you some data from our last tuning session a moment ago.

Nice to see that you are alive and well Greg! We have been making quite a few interesting observations with our current limitations with both software.
