    2. wtf would you go to the expense of getting a billet crank and going for 3.4L? you can do that with a stock 74 crank; just ship it to ray. imho, it's not worth the ass-pain expense of the billet crank unless you're going for at LEAST 3.7. and for all that trouble, i'd start with a 74 block and make it a solid 4.0L with an overbore to match.
I plan on keeping my original block with a bore and stroke. The billet crank will depend on whether or not my wallet is fat at that moment in time. I like a high rev assembly. light weight weight internals will give me the ability to do that with a little more ease. You right about bang for you buck on a ray modded 74 crank. A 4.0l will be to much piston speed for what I'm looking to do. After all this is my dd street car. Just a personal preference I have. If I was to go a 3.7l or bigger I wouldn't stay tdo5. If I ever went a different route than td05 I pick up a 2nd vr4 and start over and have two 3000gt's

Ported heads, IPS 2mm oversized valves, Delta 264/272 cams, 3SX High rev valve springs, 3SX cam gears,
Merkel 6g72 3.5L BILLET crank stroker (going in this summer), 3sx poly motor mounts
IPS EvoIII turbo kit, HKS SSQV bov, ETS anodized FMIC, AEM intake filters, Tanabe Turbo Back Concept G Blue Exhaust,
HKS DLI, Ultra spark plug wires, Denso iridium IK24 spark plugs,
JSPEC trans, Ultimate Performance short throw shifter, Spec carbon twin disk clutch, PST aluminum 2 piece drive shaft,
Denso Supra fuel pump, RC 750cc fuel injectors, AEM Fuel pressure regulator,
AEM wideband & boost gauge, AEM EMS in speed density,
    Addco sway bars, DBA 4000 drilled & slotted rotors, Enkei PF01 18x9 +45, BFGoodrich g-froce KDW 245/40/R18

Boris who are you talking about, about looking at the details? Mine is a 91 with 98 front end, 99 headlights, complete engine rebuild (3 times) with all forged internals, IPS 19T's, completely redone fuel setup... rebuilt tranny, interior was tan, now completely custom and rdone, carpet, suede headliner, custom seats, suspension, all poished enginebay, custom paint with blacktop, working rear active aero spoiler...i mean my entire car is redone except the frame...lol So, when you say "I'm not sure what people are considering when they vote but I don't think they are looking at the details." I think thats kind of a pretty condesending remark. If you dont know about what has been done and the time and money spent on peoples cars, then I wouldnt say comments like that. JMO
