Its a small antenna like the ones on S2000. Looks much nicer than the stock one.
Interesting so it goes in the same spot and no fitment issues? My motor broke on my antenna so it would probably be cheaper to buy that one than the same thing from a dealer.

Yes. I had one on my old 97, worked great.

It fits perfectly in the OEM location. My mast was stripped and this much cheaper than buying a new one, not to mention looking better. Ill post up a pic shortly.

Can't remember the brand, but this is basically what it was.

You can see the wiring going to the center of the glass.

If the antenna motor works, and you don't have an overwhelming compulsion to go to a 'Shark', etc., the OEM refill is the way to fly, I think.

I like the idea of full retractability, especially considering the odd penchant some people have for fucking with other people's cars.

Jeff Lucius' page on changing out old-for-new is a piece of cake; took me about fifteen minutes.

My mast broke and I installed a replacement. Then I upgraded my head unit to a Kenwood DNX-7160. The Kenwood has AM, FM, iPod, DVD, etc. The issue with the retractable is that whenever the Kenwood is not in standby it raises the antenna. So I turn on the iPod and up comes the antenna. The Shark could be a good choice if sensitivity is better than the retractable. And with my Kenwood deck I wouldn't have to worry about which mode I'm in.
