Well as you all prob know Cairns is directly inline of the current cyclone. I live 100m from the beach so I might get blown away lol. Don't really care about the rest of my stuff just my car hahaha. Haven't decided what to do yet. Hopefully the car will be ok.

Well the plan now is to evacuate. Stay at at small town over the hill. Hopefully away from the destruction. Thye most annoying thing is I have tickets to see Joe Cocker tonight. Will have to leave after that I guess.

Dude, drive car up to the top of the highest hill and find an underground carpark...(as in one under a building, not necessairly below ground level!)

I thought of that but there isn't really any public places to do it. Plus my wheels have those scary cracks in them so it will be a slow drive where ever I take it hahaha.
