good to know. -8 an it is.

...and if i can't get those rails...i'll have to find some GT-PRO rails 2nd hand.

p.s. i see you guys offer an -8 an kit. do you have it available with purple FPR, Filter, and fittings? can i pay extra and get braided steel lines?

    *edit*
wtf? fuel lab doesn't make -8an inlets? do you have to use a -8 > -10 adapter?

Yup thats all you do, -8 to -10 adaptors in the sides and your all set.

We can get purple filter and fpr, im not sure if anyone makes purple fittings but if they do we can get them. We can switch any kit to SS line if thats what you want.

As far as the rails, we dont make any 3S rails right now, but I can shave and polish a set of stock rails and have them anodized in that purple, or if you want to send us a set we can get them anodized in purple as long as they are raw aluminum.

If you'd be interested in a full fuel system let me know, it will be cheaper to do it all at once.

Just run two -6AN lines to the rails, then two -6AN lines to the AFPR and one to the tank. Most after market FPRs have two -6AN inlets and one -6AN outlet, so only one is required. Running two -6AN lines eliminates the need for Y-Blocks. It does require two fuel filters, but is just a lot simpler to run.

While I haven't personally used (or seen) one of these kits, just the pics and description make them VERY attractive:

that's exactly what i was thinking about running. i just figured i'd wait and ask austin if he has a setup he uses that i can buy with the lines kit.

i would have thought that 1 -8 line would be simpler to run (cheaper too) because you only need one set of clips to hold it & there's only 1 filter. i'd only need 2 y-blocks (one at the pumps, one at the rails).

austin, do you have any thoughts on this?

Heres what i was talking about in the PM's

my y-fitting is right under the throtttle body on the edge of the valve cover splitting to both rails

That way it is very clean looking and there arent lines running everywhere.

Then out of both rails to the regulator on the other side, and straight down to the return.

Sorry i dont have more detailed pics, but thats the general idea.

yeah, i've decided the -6/-6 >-8 is what i want to run. cleaner and, like you said, pressures will be more even between front & rear bank.

That looks good! How much $ for exactly that, in black? (Lines, fittings, FPR, filter for ethanol)

You want it -6 all the way like mine? I was running a single wally 255 in tank with this setup. Send me a pm with what you want to run and i'll get you a price. I have sold a couple arleady exactly the same as mine and good results so far from everyone.

austin, i'll take a 3.5" MAF and the 1st gen MAF-T as well as the rest of that stuff (MBC, 2 y-blocks, -10an adapters for -8 lines for the fpr, FPR, LONG filter (with whichever is the best filter element available).

    how much?
