    limit on aluminum is 67" which is not long enough. this is why a 2 piece has to be made. or single carbon shaft. if you are looking for a straight shot there is another group buy here for some carbon fiber shafts.

    Theres a limit on the length of aluminum for structural purposes im assuming your referring about, correct? And increasing the radius wouldn't benefit it's strength at all? Im just venturing out there to see if one can be built, im pretty confident it can be done with the proper weight to length measurements to eliminate all the bearings, and not have to use cf to avoid vibrations at different speeds.

    basically you would have to have the shaft machined out of solid stock to get the diameter and wall thickness you would need. (this is what i was told) I think i want to investigate it further. I know I can get a pretty thick walled piece of aluminum from my supplier.

    I already have acpt cf shaft that replaces two first sections of the oem 3 piece driveshaft. I´m looking for a replacement for the last piece
