GI: Group buy Two Peice aluminum drive shafts

    Closed!!!!

After talking more to them i found out they would not warranty the two piece aluminum shaft because the carrier bearing would be riding on aluminum. which is for race use only because they will not last too long. So we renegotiated on providing just the second half to your existing drive shaft replacing the second and third piece. as well as the typical steel aluminum combo. and came up with 700.00 for the combo shaft with oem replacement carrier bearing and 500.00 for just the second half(replacing stock 2nd and third pieces) I am having mine done right now and will post up more info on them later

    Man!

Four days after I receive mine from 3sx they put them on sale for $100 cheaper. Now you guys have this going on.

Looks like I'm a day early and a dollar bloated...

Cool to see a true 2 piece aluminum option.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

I will find out the weight in the morning when they open up. These are being made for us per our spec. ETA is 3 days after i place the order for 7 of them they will be done and ready to ship. After that we should have atleast 2 in stock at all times

22.7LBS. Carrier bearing is another story I have my option of being able to use a stock replacement or an aftermarket one similar to the factory just different ID bearing. So i am asking you guys what would you prefer. A proprietary Bearing or factory replacement

All else being equal, a factory unit would be preferable in my opinion. The 3SX unit concerns me due to the possible need of sourcing said bearing in 10 years.

Thats what i was thinking. But i can honestly say i dont know how well factory bearings hold up. I never had a problem with them personally
