OK, so I need to make absolutely sure that this is safe before I do it.
Gotta tow the VR4 as it's not on the road and I'm moving. Can I disconnect the drive shaft at the rear diff and use a tow dolly? No one around here carries flat beds.

Vacuum reduction, Powdercoated misc, cruise relocate, Evo9 BOV, Custom catch cans, Russell fuel filter, SS braided fuel lines, High flow fuel loop, Autogage fuel gauge, Catless DP, DNP Y-pipe, Fuel pump hotwire.
No one? Surely this has been done. I've seem some threads on it but none with a solid yes or no.
^What he said. You'll be okay if you disconnect the driveshaft.
...AND tow it on the rear wheels. just so we're clear.![]()
Thanks guys. Hans, when you do it do you just disconnect the flange from the diff and tie it up somewhere or do you have to remove other parts of the shaft?
Just unbolt it from the rear diff and tie the driveshaft up out of the way. I've done it this way on more than one occasion.

Just an FYI. I would just tie it up but for some reason if you feel the need to disconnect just the rear part of the drive shaft be sure to mark it before hand so it install the same way and you dont screw up the balancing of the shaft
