    p.s.

there's actually several differences between n/a and tt ecu's; apart from the obvious. having this device with native support for the TCU would be quite beneficial for fwd-tt's; eliminating the need to hotwire.

Glad I see some interest already Yeah, im working on this alone (fun fun). It really isnt TOO bad. Its really just (in) -> (programming) -> (out). The in and out are more complicated then they seem, and do require some electrical engineering knowledge. It allows a tiny microcontroller to control high voltage things like our coil packs, or receive information from the knock sensor and CAS. Its why the stock board looks complicated and why there are so many components.

Ive been thinking alot about ATX and it will be seen in the final product. Given that im lucky and that the TCU controls almost everything I cant imagine it being too difficult, though it wont happen until later stages when I can get testing on someone else's auto. I would need to dig and find more information on what these "torque reduce request" lines do as well.

    ATX actually means automatic transaxle.

    Good luck with this project.

As a future progression maybe you can ditch the PTU so guy's can run coil on plug easier? Just thinking out loud
