why is black so hard to find?

...at least when it comes to metal door trims and metal dash vents.

    seriously...who sells them?

thanks. i never thought of that before.

anyone else want to try and get me to settle for rattle-can instead of a proper anodizing?

No idea, but I never bought metal vents because they weren't black. There was no way I was going to stick shiny metal things there and ruin the already poor vision because of the reflective dash. Black is much more subtle. You could have someone anodize it, a lot of powdercoat places can anodize too.

So then, group buy for ones that matches the factory dash/vents color (dark gray)? I'm in for a set.

well i guess i could live with dark gray. i'd really prefer black--and i'm sure black is easier to anodize.
