    Timing question

    Okay, I installed the timing belt like the video on here shows. I set the crank one tooth back from TDC. Now when I turn the motor with a wrench the timing marks on the cam gears line up but the crank is three teeth back from TDC, what did I do wrong? Or is this okay. I dont get any binding or anything when I turn the motor and it turns pretty easy. Need help ASAP.

    never mind I set the crank one tooth forward instead of one tooth back. Son of a bitch.

    Yup I've been there before. Set the timing, and forgot to go back and rotate the engine a few more times to double check it was still on. Installed the engine and ended up bending all of my intake valves on my brand new heads FML did it right the second time lol
