replacing fuel filter and line snapped!!!!!!! help!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK, so i got a new fuel filter and the line on the bottom snapped. was rusted and just snapped easily. Now I have to replace the whole line under the car to the tank. WTF do I have to do now? I have to get it running by monday and basically have sunday to do this and have no fuel line? what am i gonna do? anyone who can help would be greatly appreciated?

the connector to the bottom was basically rusted on it, so i tried the swivel connector and it just broke with barley any pressure. Now I have to re-run the whole line under the car and have no clue what to do?

I got your PM, it wont be a problem. I made the same thing for drgonzo's car. His stock line was crushed so we made a line to replace everything between the filter and the sending unit.

I forget the price, I will look it up tomorrow at and let you know. We were gonna add it to the website but havent done it yet.

Just temp fix it for now till your new setup comes in. If you have to get to work on Monday just buy some 3/8 AQP fuel line or high pressure fuel line at Napa. Grab a couple of hose clamps and use a pipe cutter and cut the existing line clean and splice it in. If you broke it at the banjo just buy a stainless banjo. Take the existing banjo, old copper crush washers, and the fuel filter bolt off and take them with you and while you're there buy a banjo with the same inside diameter as the oem one. If the the banjo is taller buy a taller compression bolt while you're there and and grab two copper crush washers (have someone at the counter help you). Buy an AN to push-lock fuel fitting to connect to the banjo and clamp it on just to be safe. Run a temp line from the push-lock barb to the old fuel line and double clamp it.

No boosting till you figure out your new fuel setup and get it installed. Buy a good one, you need to upgrade your fuel setup big time anyway. If you have any probs gimme a ring in the morning.

If you want to just get it over with like your normal hurry hurry emergency self I have a spare AQP setup I pieced together at On-Track Performance. It's the entire supply and return for 1000hp and it's good for E-85. If you want it now have Austin overnight his setup to you or steal the wifes car and come to Denver and build the whole setup at On-Track. They have all the parts in stock, stainless filters, fittings, fuel lines, fuel pumps... everything. They're customer service is awesome too, they'll help you build it right there to make sure you have all the parts.

You got my number you drama queen.

Not to sidetrack the thread, but you guys are from around the Denver area? I'm up North a bit in Rapid City and just found a house I'll be at for the next few years. Any meets down there that would motivate me to fix my stealth this summer?

Sorry about your problems man... Good you got it figured out anyway. I know when it came time to replace my fuel filter I didn't even bother with stock cause I knew what PITA it was going to be. Just went with 3sx's fuel lab kit.
