    So whats wrong with that!

I have my build thread on both sites. I like to get the opinions of as many people as I can.

The day I picked it up!

    And now....

The whole car took about three months to build all by myself in my driveway. Now I just small things here and there to fix and add. You can read the whole build thread from day 1 here: Saved From The Crusher - 93 Stealth TT Rebuild/Restore

It sat since 1996. It was a theft recovery back then. A dealer bought it and put it in his back yard... under a tree... under a tarp. It was pretty rough when I bought it, but after changing the fuel pump assembly/pump, putting in fresh gas, fuel filter, and an oil change... the car fired up. Now it's getting the rest of the fluids flushed and a full 60k service. The interior isn't original (supposed to be charcoal manual leather and it has power beige leather) so that's getting redone. It just got a full paint job using all Dupont Chroma base products. I still have the original windshield (cracked) for it with the new car dealer inspection sticker on it

    Photo from the Dealer :

    After having it two weeks

After lots and lots of ££££s and hard work

I don't have any underbonnet shots as its not finished and i need to get the front rocker powdercoated!

Good to see the development of peoples cars over the years - every meet I go to there never seems to be two the same! Good expression of what different people like

Thanks - they are out of production now but they are Mania Racing Pacifics 8.5" all round (looking for some 9.5 rears just for a looks point of view)

I had them referbished and think they suit the car even better than the bright silver :

Had allen heads added so at first glance they look like split rims...

It's a single stage paint made by Kirker called Hot Rod Black. The car was stripped to bare metal and put in epoxy primer. You have to wait atleast 4 days for the primer to fully dry before you can sand, but it gives an extremely durable base. Then you have to spray the single stage in a dust free environment because you can't wet sand and buff this job. It's extremely hard to get it to spray well... it definitely takes some practice, even for a experienced painter.

Agreed! Painting a flat coat is not fun! I did mine outside and I can see all of the little spots were dust got on. I had to sand and respray a few panels just cause of contaminates. Considering the condition of the car when I got it and how much I paid for materials I can't really complain about how it turned out. This was my first full car painting and I'm happy with it. It's not a show quality job by far but at least the car has a solid paint color on it and it is durable.

I like the fact that I have done all of the work myself. I value things more when it is my own blood sweat and tears that built it!
