Wanted: Pictures of your oil cooler in the stock location

Working on a Maximal oil cooler here and I'm going to try to stuff the biggest core possible in the stock location. I was able to fit a huge one on my car and have an idea how it will fit but since being an NA and not having the stock mounting points I'm not sure where everything is in relation to other stuff crammed under there. So if you guys could post some pics, whether it's stock or aftermarket, of the oil cooler in front of the wheel well it'd be helpful.

Not sure if these help but I snapped these when installing my front mount. They don't show much for mounting AND the side mounts aren't in there for those side mount guys to have reference but maybe these pics assist a little?

Thanks Marc. That's another thing, I don't have sidemounts. However I don't think that'll be an issue as they're typically in front of the cooler.

Welcome. Now I'm not sure how godzilla big you're looking but maaaaaybe if it's as big as a tire you might have clearance issues w/the sidemounts

Mine is in there flat and that's sandwiching it between the FMIC pipes that aren't exactly the best designed in that area (CX Racing). If you mount it at too much of an angle then you lose efficiency of the cooler. From what I'm hearing anything over 15* and you lose a ton of efficiency, enough to justify going with a smaller cooler instead.

I've got a 19row mounted on mine in stock location, but angled to fit between the cxracing pipes. I'll try to snap some pics tonight if I remember. Looks identical to the cores GZP is selling now.

I will post a better picture once I get to my home PC. All I had to do was mount it at an angle and it fit perfect.

If I can get over to the car tonight I can grab you a pic with the stock SMIC and oil cooler on my 91 R/T.
