So how do these help the performance of your car? These kits have been proven to add voltage at the battery, in some cases as much as 1.5 volts. It also helps idle voltage remain at a decent rate so the car doesn't feel like it's about to bog at a stoplight. Startup times are also dramatically decreased. I was planning on making my own for the spring, but this is cheap and easier, plus I'm sure it'll look better than anything I would make.
