Question about a very different idea

Well, the other day I was reading a thread here, and someone posted about a '10 Ram pickup owner stuck giving the AWD 3s driver the stink-eye. That got me to thinking about my 91 R/T TT. She has 217xxx on the odometer, and needs quite a bit of work(slave cylinder, body work, synchros, etc). Now, as we all know, lots of people put coilovers or lowering springs on our cars. Would there be a way to put a lift kit, so to speak, larger tires, etc on a car like ours? I've never heard of anyone doing this, and I think it would be kinda cool to be that different. Anyone know of anything like this? Think it's cool? Think it's epically stupid? Feel free to comment/flame away(just keep in mind that this would mostly be a winter beater, though I could probably take it out on the beach to go fishing, lmao...)

You would essentially have to do like the video and put the body on a truck chassis. The axles on a 3s would probably never be able to handle the angle created by a lift kit and the bigger tires. If you wanted to keep it Mitsu oriented you could put it on an old school Montero chassis and keep a 6g72.

Its funny you mention the "L200" We make bedliners for that, 99.9% of the time for the double cab, for overseas customers.

Well its called a double cab (DC), not crew cab. Its definitely different. The owner was in Saudi and took a pic of a pimped out L200 DC on 20's. It was pretty awesome.

I think they all come with fender flares. Not 100% sure though and wouldn't be able to tell by the shape of a bedliner.

Awesome idea for the vid...that's pretty much exactly what I was thinking, but I was hoping to keep the frame and such, b ut I guess I could think about tossing the body on a Mitsu truck frame of some sort...
