LOL Interesting info from the Snopes link. I may be able to add a bit of history to this that isn't mentioned. I know for a fact that one of my textbooks in the early 90's had this same info in it. I have no idea what they claimed the source was, but this stuff was printed for use by TX schools for their history classes (or possibly English, I'm a little fuzzy on what class it was.)

They basically used it as an example of how far women's rights have advanced and the changes wrought by the women's movement. And of course, then as now, the guys all wished for a return to "better" times.

And then woman pushed for rights and employment, corporations and Government realized we could build a economy based on 2 incomes per house hold. The rest is history.
