I unbolted the throttle cable from the plenum and firewall and also pulled the cruise control box off its mount and swung it back onto the cowl to gain access to those lines. Shouldn't be too bad. You may need to remove that subframe crossmember, or downpipe to have access from underneath, I don't know, I already had those two off. Good luck

CRAP! I got a good look at it today and made a diagram. The view is from on your back underneath the car. feet sticking out from the front.

There is no bolt to undo to the leak unless the line goes through that bracket (which if it does everythings gotta come out or it will have to be resealed once ran through). Looks like the best bet is gonna be to braze it or something, or remove everything and replace it all. Anyone in the Chicago area know anyone that can do that for me? When I have it jacked up as much as I can its still inches from my face and im not gonna play with fire there . Hopefully I can get it brazed and them im gonna put some sort of high heat coating over the rest of the lines to resist corrosion any further.

Also, does anyone know if the line that has a leak is one piece from reservoir to nut or if it is two pieces seperated by that bracket after the leak?
If its one piece Im thinking about just borrowing a lift, cutting out the straight section with a leak, feeding a new one through the bracket and reattaching it on each side.

Done it with compression fittings many times. Never had an issue.

To be more clear I have bought new line with the correct end on it and used it to replace the bad line, then ran it until there was a good solid part of the old line and use the compression fitting to connect the old and new lines together.

Yeah, if only I had a half inch of room on either side of the hole. Its literally right up against that bracket.
Do you know what end fitting it uses? I ask because it would take mitsu quite some time to get me one and Id like this done by the end of the week.

That line isn't that bad to remove, from what I remember. Obviously, that right side bracket needs removed, but meh

well thank god for bolt extractors. looks like ill be tearing it apart now that I know that line is one piece and not connected under the bracket. I found a hydraulics shop that says they can make me a set that wont corrode

Got the old lines out today, didnt take too long
Another thing for any IL guys. I had Bristol Hydraulics in Northlake make me a new set. They are wayyy beefier than the stock ones you can bend with your hand. All for only 80 bucks!

Thank you everyone for your help. Was much much easier than it appeared to be.
