Thread: MMCd Comes to Android

    MMCd Comes to Android

I've been working on rewriting MMCd (from the ground up) for the Android platform to allow for datalogging via a bluetooth adapter developed by a fellow 3/S'er. Promotional videos can be found here:

The board and software should go on sale within the next couple of months.

Any chance of a USB connect to the phone? USB connectors are cheaper than bluetooth. Would give another option

That's awesome. Now we can mount a ipad style unit [ie Samsung Galaxy Tab] as a logger. Phone screens are too small. Or a Toshiba AC100 laptop [it's a netbook running Android].

Will it only be for 1g's, or will it work with all gens?

I second a usb connection, and enable charging so we can leave it plugged in without worrying about phone dieing, good idea on this, I looked when I first got my droid, in the app market for any kind of logging software, didn't find anything other than gps MPH stuff.
