Surprised I havent seen a thread on this yet. I wonder what is causing this. All the theorys I have read are rediculous.

Hubby was telling me this morning that they were blaming one of the bird incidents on fireworks! It's possible but who's letting off fireworks in the middle of December and wouldn't it be at night when the birds were roosting in trees? Why would they be falling dead the next day?
If it was a single incident I may go along with it but not several different ones.
Then I see about all the fish saying it was cold temps.
My goldfish freeze in the pond every year and are just fine when things warm up.

I don't like it! The reasons they are giving seem pretty lame at this point.

Mabye earth's magnetic field changing coupled with the unusually cold weather are making these animals travel to the wrong places?

2012 getting closer? I don't mean the end of the world but there is supposed to be some scary stuff. Like the weakening and possibly reversal of the magnetic field coupled with a peak in sun activity.
