    10-4.

I believe batteries also have to be strapped down somehow.

I was OK by simply using two big worm clamps and clamping the battery to the tray at NG07. Alan said he would post all the rules tomorrow.

Rules in previous years said it could not move if tugged on.

The problem is - this year no rules have been posted yet. Keep an eye out, Alan will be posting tomorrow.

    Are you talking about drag?

Last year for road coarse it was up to the driver to make sure they were not leaking fluids, right year helmet, battery strapped down, no loose items, etc etc.

The ONLY race that the track techs is drag races, and since they haven't supplied me with a current list of rules, then they can't really be too firm about it. But we'll get on that. Alex, you can push all you want, but the truth is that until the track gets back to us, there's nothing we can do. So please stop acting like we're purposely withholding the rules from you or something. We're doing everything we can on this end.

guys, if you're really not sure, you should err on the side of caution. if the battery moves and shorts out your ECU, that's going to be your problem to fix later. both NASA and SCCA say no bungee cords, which you should take to mean no "cables" or "belts" (including ratchet straps). tie it down with metal and bolts somehow, and you should be fine..
