The track said nothing to us about this. What people don't realize is that sometimes we have to make sensible decisions to protect ourselves. And since our names are all over that insurance policy, you know we're not going to let anyone risk it. It's way too much of a liability for us.

Beginners didn't ride along with instructors because no one asked for it. However, I'm definitely not allowing everyone to be taking passengers out. There will be some passengers allowed on the first run for each group ONLY. Bridge, didn't you go with Dan at one point? Or vice versa? And not during that first run group? Or am I remembering wrong?

Pete, I'll ask Peggy to look into it.

    Brian, yes, some experience.
yeah i asked dan to jump in to make sure i was hitting my apexes right for a couple of laps, but the course wasn't even that complicated. if i do run this year, i'd run advance instead of some experience.

Lori: Does the $80 weekender include a track lap with the possible Pace Car?

And what are the hotels that we're using, so I can try to set up a reservation?

The lap at indy is included with the full and weekender registration packages.

Hotel information is provided after you have a paid registration.

Here is an idea for promoting NG11 and 3SGTO -- SIAP. There are a lot of sponsors of this site and several for the NG, but I don't know what they are doing to promote either one, or what this site is doing to partner with them in promoting both. For instance, I think it would be a good idea to give all sponsors a couple graphics to place on their web site or FaceBook pages to link to the NG11 thread and to this site. Secondly, maybe Alan or Lori or someone could work with the sponsors to create an email to send out to their customer base as part of the promotion.

Here is what I found as an unscientific survey, clicking links from banner ads and the sponsors forum on this site. If I got anything wrong, I apologize.

Supercar-Engineering.com - Dodge Stealth & Mitsubishi 3000GT Performance mentions being a sponsor of previous 3sng events, but not this years. To make matters worse, they don't even have a valid link to the site.

Xccelerated Performance Automotive has no mention of the 3sng on their home page or News page.

Dynamic Racing :: - Home doesn't mention the 3sng or 3sgto.org, but does have a link to 3SI on their menu at the top of every page.

3SX Performance Automotive - Mitsubishi 3000GT & Dodge Stealth Parts & Service does not mention the 3sng or 3sgto on their home page or News page.

3SX Performance Automotive - Mitsubishi 3000GT & Dodge Stealth Parts & Service does not mention 3sng or 3sgto on their home page or News page.

Home does not mention 3sng or 3sgto on their home page, but they did just post a register button on their FaceBook page. Thank you GZP!

Latitude 42 Motorsports does not mention 3sng or 3sgto on their home page

Maximal Performance does not mention 3sng or 3sgto on their site. Promoted BRG 2011 on their FaceBook page, but not 3sng since at least December.

Ninja Performance - Your Affordable Performance Parts Store does not mention 3sng or 3sgto on their site.

PMP Motorsports does not mention 3sng or 3sgto on their home page or blog.

Split Second Motorsports does not mention 3sng or 3sgto on their home page.

STM | STREET TUNED MOTORSPORTS | DSM | EVO | SUBARU | PERFORMANCE & DYNO TUNING does not mention 3sng on their site not list 3sgto as an STM sponsored forum at STM: SPONSORED FORUMS

I know a lot of track days only let passengers with the experienced run group. Maybe that's something we can look into? Not only so the beginners can ride with the more experienced drivers but also so maybe some other people can get a feel for what it's like and hopefully get hooked on it and sign up next year.

I agree. I'm registered for all events, never done road course before. I'd like to ride along with a pro and learn some basics before going all Mitsubishi Kamakaze on the track.

Nelson is pissy because he did not win enough stuff at the last NG.

I even heard him grumble about not getting an award in a drag category we don't give awards in.(fastest time)
