I'd take an up and comer like Hoke over that idiot Les Miles any day.

    Worrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrd.

    I like:

    1. Harbaugh
    2. Hoke
    3. Patterson

    In that order.

I'm just glad the DickRod era is over. I don't care if we go 0-11 next year, if we have a promising coach in place and the future looks bright, I'll be happy. I never liked RR and didn't like the manner in which he was hired. I'm just glad to see the program moving forward and I like Dave Brandon's approach and professionalism thus far.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

Just curious, why Hoke over Patterson?

I think Patterson is more of a stretch, he's got to be pretty happy with his team's dominance already.

Hoke on the other hand knows the Michigan way and could be a good up and comer. Provided he has some good ideas for moving the team forward, I could see him being a solid long term coach. Remember, nobody knew who Schembechler, Tressel, etc. were before they got their chance, perhaps Hoke is that guy.

Oh, so it wasn't exactly a matter of preferring Hoke to Patterson. With TCU finally getting into an AQ conference, I would imagine Patterson has some unfinished business all of the sudden.

Looks like Brady Hoke took the job. FUUUUUUUU......... First SDSU loses Harbaugh to Stanford and now Hoke to Michigan. Everyone else in San Diego wants to stay here... everyone except the football coaches.
