    That assumption was pretty much the point of the thread.... Not much chance that a peice of Snap-On Diagnostic Equipment would have a name like that these days.

    And if you are younger than about 65, learning to use this could be VERY challenging.

    Not sure I totally agree... While being quite different, I don't think it would be any more challenging than mastering a modern DSO.
