you pointing out that there are "more muslim cultures than just militant south-west asian ones" is simply laughable. of course they exist. the problem is, the religion has spread its militantism, along with its so-called "peaceful teachings". hence the darfur conflict, bombings in bali, and a whole slew of other militant muslim attacks--not at all localized to south-west asia or projected attacks in the USA & western europe.

of course, you really don't see this shit going down in russia. russia's hard-ass stance towards terrorism presents a much less succeptible target.
