What's the name of this belt?

While changing my spark plug I noticed that this belt was getting worn. What's the name of it? It's right below Air Pipe A.

What he said. You have to remove the AC/Alt belt to get this one off, so you might consider replacing both at one time. All the parts stores carry them; I would get the least expensive O'Reilly/Advance/AutoZone belts and go for it.

Not totally true that they all carry them, I had a hard time finding them locally. I also wouldn't suggest buying the least expensive... I did that, the belt went bad at above highway speeds the exact same day I installed it, and there was nothing left. Had to drive an hour in another vehicle to go get another. I ended up replacing belts at a rate of one a week for a month and a half before I went and bought a goodyear belt. I was less than thrilled.

Gator backs are the type to use, only reason i had to replace both of mine is because the idler pully its self fell off( guess I didnt tighten it enought after rebuilding my top end hehe)

I definitely wouldn't cheap out on it. Too many times I have seen peoples power steering belt shred then cause the car to jump time.

Are bent valves really worth the $7 saved?

That really shouldn't happen unless you are missing some T-belt covers or it wraps up around the crank pulley in a really bad way. Anyway, I'd go for a known-brand quality one, no reason to cheap out on such stuff. As stealthee said, drop a few happy meals and pony up ~$7 or so for piece of mind

Thats what can happen if it shreds. It wraps around the crank. T belt covers wont even save you then.
