It's been almost 20 years since it last snowed on Christmas around here. Started yesterday evening (Christmas) and by this morning, this is what we woke up to in Concord, NC:

It's a lightweight snow around here, so I'm hopeful many folks will enjoy it. Tonight will be different, when the temp falls. I just had a snowball fight with my 8 yr old niece.

a friend of mine lives in denton and says its best to stay home as the folks around him cannot drive worth a nickle in snow. he said it snowed 2 inches in 2002 and everthing shut down. i dont know what they would do when we just got 22 inches of snow. but then again we have the equipment to deal with it . his neighbor had a sign in his yard in 2002 saying the blizzard of 2002, i quess this is his blizzard of 2010..

It was great to wake up to snow this year on Christmas day.

Well considering you're in the beginning of Summer I'd hope for mid 80's (F).

We have snow, but luckily missed the heavy snowfall that came up the east coast.

NJ got slammed again. Last year and this year I was stuck at work while it laid down 24+ inches. At some points I was literally up to my waist in snow. I'm sure the this is normal for the Northern states. I just wish this happened after I traveled up to the Poconos, gotta make that drive tonight.

Great pics, Ezn. A quarter of the snow has already melted.
