we got a 02 cherokee and just want to know a little more about it

Not sure if this has been mentioned as I didnt read through all 5 pages, but they stopped making XJ's in 2001... Guessing it was just a typo.

As for Jeeps, I've had 4 XJ's.

My first one was stock, next one I put a 2 inch lift in, next one got a 4 inch lift and 32's, and the last one I owned (it was a 2001) I put a 5.5 inch lift and 33's. I got a job 40 miles away so I ended up selling it shortly after finishing it because i wanted something that got better gas mileage... I ended up buying an A6 audi with a 4.2 so I really dont get better gas mileage anyways lol.
My 97 4.0 5-speed 4 inch lift, tons of engine mods lockers etc

On topic, I LOVE LOVE our Wagoneer, despite it being a gas HOG!!!. I can't wait to take it out to play.

My bad, it was 4.3L.... and ummmm A JEEP 4X4 in 2 wheel drive setting is REAR WHEEL DRIVE... Can you read? All you guys who think your opinions are somehow more valuable than everyone else's are a JOKE... the rear wheel drive discussion can be debated for another 50 pages, but WHO cares... talk about it some more if you want, but rear wheel drive will never handle snow as well as any other different option whether it is a Jeep or a motero, and since that is not even what the OP wanted to know then I am done talking about that. I have owned 2 Jeeps, an 88 Cherokee and still own a 97 Cherokee and I know quite a bit about them, so feel free to ask me if you have any questions about them. If all you want to do is question my credibility then go play on facebook. I back up my statements and admit when I make a mistake. I made a valid post about rear wheel drive Jeeps and I stand by it! Get over it!

we spilled the beans on that back in may/june. due Dec 31st. we are getting married next year.

OK... I was stating my experience and a certain few feel the need to question that... I am sorry that it turned into what it turned into but I still stand behind everything I post... If someone questions me, I will back myself up... I don't mean to step on toes or cause drama, I apologize for that. No, it sounded the opposite... I am sorry about that, and all that was not aimed specifically at you, and I'm sorry about that as well... My Astro was a 4.3L and it hauled arse! I owe you a round of whatever you drink...
