I finally got a set of Latitude 42 headlights!!!!!!!!

    AND I GOT PICS!!!!!!

So I got my set of Latitude 42 headlights installed yesterday and I couldn’t be happier. Personally I’ve always hated how dim the first gen 3000gt lights are. They just never seamed to light up the whole road, even the high beams seamed like a normal cars low-beams. The low beams on the Latitude 42 non flip-ups seam to be slightly brighter then the oem high beams (aka normal lol) and the high beams are very bright. The best part is that they look great! They fit nice and tight and don’t have any large gaps between the edge of the lens and the bumper/hood/fender.

Install was VERY easy, if you can remove your stock headlights you shouldn’t have any issue installing these.

Personally i think these are the lights that 3000GT’s should have come with. They are NOT ricer blue or yellow, just a normal color light that is much brighter than stock and gives a lot more visibility. If I every buy another first gen 3000gt I will def pick up another set of these lights.

Oh and I drove from 7:30 till midnight in snow, salt, slush, and ice with these lights on the way home and they worked great. Then after getting home I had to wash the car to get the thick crust of salt and ice off it so these lights had to deal with a ton of hot soapy water and scrubbing. No water got inside the lenses so I’m pretty happy.

To me, they're too 3G Eclipse looking....

But what's important is that you like it. I'm weird since I still like the pop ups.

The only thing I don't like about them is how they dropped all the way down into the snake eye spot. It makes them look too long. If they were shorter and followed the contour of the snake eye, or a piece that replaces the snake eye I think they would look a lot better.

Its just my opinion on the matter. At least first genners have a good option for aftermarket lights now.
