yeah me too. Do you guys actually measure out the .2 quarts difference? Fill it with 5 and forget it, I never check the dipstick until a couple weeks later like on a normal checking the oil schedule.

I don't get people who keep adding oil and checking the dipstick. It isn't like one time the car will hold more or less oil than before.

just switched to castrol syntec full synthetic 5w40, been running 10w40. I'm sure it has more VIs, but my trips are really short in the morning, I want to give the oil the best chance possible. autozone had 5 quarts and a k&n filter for $29.99 today.

Just finished switching to Rotella full synthetic 5w-40 for the winter. Little less than $30 for the gallon + 1 qt at Walmart.

This topic seems to come up a LOT. And by a lot, I mean a couple times a week. Manual specs out 4.9 qts for the turbo models and 4.5 qts for the non turbos. But honestly, that fill line on the dip stick is the indicator. Get it smack dab in the middle, or all the way to the top line if you want. Technically, the center of the two ticks on the dipstick is the correct amount. The top line is about a quart high and the low line is about a quart low.

Vacuum reduction, Powdercoated misc, cruise relocate, Evo9 BOV, Custom catch cans, Russell fuel filter, SS braided fuel lines, High flow fuel loop, Autogage fuel gauge, Catless DP, DNP Y-pipe, Fuel pump hotwire.
