    Man, ouch! Sorry to hear...

I ran over some kind of metal object on the freeway in my 92 na and was lucky enough to only need the missing back half of the exhaust. 2 am Seattle and no one to blame ftl.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

    NA, so no oil cooler.

I thought about it some more and think I am just going to let insurance handle it all. That way they if something is damaged that I miss that I wont be fucking myself over.

I just hope they don't try to screw me around with my 99 front. I'm going to go talk to my actual agent today and get some things clarified because the people at claims seem to only know what they can read off a piece of paper.

my son ran over a concrete block which fell off a truck in front of him and it punched a hole in the oil pan on a dodge lancer i had. he stopped right of way and also oil was pouring out, but stopping right of way we only had to replace the pan. no engine damage and i drove it for 6 more years and since you stopped quickly i think you will be ok. good luck ...

and now you know why i'm like... about my awd swap. 10k worth of car on the road that the insurance company sees as worth ~1k. hence the POPD. i really gotta talk to progressive when i get back.

Good luck...hopefully it's just an oil pan or even just a filter issue and it'll be an easy fix. The cost of the dodge from bumper might be more than the 99 so you might make out ahead on the deal there.

good point. be sure you take it to a dodge dealer for a quote, not a mitsubishi one. dodge will be all like "woah...i've never seen one of these before! it must be worth MILLIONS to fix it!!!"

The car gods are frowning upon all of us lately.

I lost a tire, my friend crashed both of his vehicles AND got a ticket in someone else's vehicle. Kid I know with a WRX had his car start throwing a CEL.

I actually do have a receipt. I think I got it for $398 from Conicelli Mitsubishi, back when they still did Mitsubishi.

I tried to call the shop that I am going to let do the work, but they must have been closed already. I looked and the 99 bumper is definitely effed. On the under side of the "side mount opening" its all busted up, plus the crack on the side of the bumper. They aren't going to be able to match the paint so I don't know whats going to happen there. I just hope they don't try to total it, especially over something so small.
