aftermarket wing options for 99 vr4

hey guys, i am probably gonna not be liked for this but i recently bought a 99 vr4 and i dont mind the rear wing but thinking its abit too big and ricey looking, most people think its an aftermarket mod i did and not my style usually. It is growing on me though, but just wondering what other wing options are available besides the oem hoop and active aero option? something aftermarket maybe thats not too wild.

    Any pics would also help

For the love of (insert your deity here) if you have a 99 VR4 do NOT remove the original wing. If you are concerned about others opinions about it, maybe you bought the car for the wrong reason.

You have a unique automobile, you could used the wing as a conversation piece, "enlighten" the ignorance. On the flip side even if you do change out the wing, keep it. Even better to preserve the original hatch, find another hatch with the wing that you like.

You mentioned that it is growing on you, if that is the case, wait a year or so and see how you feel.

haha i knew that would be the response, im sure Scotty (GTO Assassin) will come on preaching the 99 wing in the next few hours as he always does when i mention it

I will keep it but if something is better i would be tempted to swap it, i just wanted to see what other options were around. It suits the car i just feel like its abit over the top like the evo's and sti's. Hopefully this opinion doesnt turn this thread into a shitstorm

I the end it is your car. If you do end up swapping, swap the whole hatch and keep you original hatch. This way you have the original stuff if you ever decide to sell the car.

If your going to take it off, i would go wingless. Otherwise just keep it on there, i have never seen an aftermarket wing that fits right.

true 99's shouldnt be touched...if you really dont like it sell it, buy another year, do a 99 front end conversion and pick another wing.

sorry :/ you are entitled to think whatever you want about the car, some really dont like the 99 wing. but there are just too few of them out there for this.

Yea but the only way wingless looks good is on a stealth or a almost slammed 3000gt

I agree my 3000GT is as low as a 3S can go and when I went wingless I was able to pull off the wingless look, it looked really damn good. But yeah OP, you bought a 99 you better not change that wing out. The only aesthetic mods you are allowed to do is a new hood and a front bumper lip and that is IT!
