Lowering the car. No single modification offers the improvement to this platform that lowering the damn thing does.

Did one hit with 13Ts, S/steel manifold, precat elims, EK2 downpipe, no cat and HKS superdragger... difference was somewhat noticable in the mid-range!

Very close second was the AP BBK - massive difference and feel compaired to stock!

13Ts are hand down my favorite go-fast mod.

My Cadillac Opulent Tuscany leather hides are my favorite non-go-fast mod.

    Other notable good mods:
    -ACPT 1 piece CFDS
-Tein S. Tech springs (best bang for the buck suspension in my opinion)
-Wideband O2 (any brand will do, I run AEM)
    -HHH Datalogger

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland - There's Only One.
    1995 Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo - Gone but not forgotten . . .
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

I got mine from discount tire with my employee discount, bringing my total down to about 425. Its easy to setup and use. Running 14.5psi vs. 9psi on 1G TT's will net a very noticeable difference.

Ive seen a completely stock VR4 dynoed at around 200awhp. All the owner did was drop the factory exhaust and install a 3" downpipe (open dp), and netted over 240awhp. Ill try to find the dyno... it was a pretty old thread on 3si. Not to mention the better spool that comes with all the power.

these two upgrades are definitely worth it if your looking to spend a small amount of money on a lot of hp. a manual boost controller can be as cheap as 15 bucks (even less if you make it yourself). Heres a good deal for a downpipe/test pipe combo from IPS (Jeff from IPS is a great guy, and the customer service there is awesome!)

EDIT: here's a comparison link, its actually a test of IPS's cutout downpipe, which is the same as having the exhaust off after the downpipe.
